Notification of Scientific Research Achievements: Dr. Juliet Orji’s Research Results Published in Authoritative Journal CAIE


Dr. Ifeyinwa Juliet Orji’s paper, entitled “Investigating the COVID- 19 pandemic’s impact on sustainable supplier selection in the Nigerian Manufacturing Sector”, was recently accepted by Computers & Industrial Engineering (CAIE). The paper introduced pandemic response strategies as a critical aspect of the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact and provided implications on the significance of these strategies during sustainable supplier selection. CAIE is an ABS-2 and ABDC-A ranked journal with an impact factor of 5.431.

Dr. Orji obtained her Ph.D. from the Dalian University of Technology. Since 2019 she has worked in the Business School at Soochow University under the Outstanding Young Scholars program as an Assistant Professor. She has engaged in teaching and scientific research in Operations and supply chain management, Logistics, Social Sustainability, and Smart technologies. Prior to joining Soochow University, she had research experience in the MIT Global Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Network. Ifeyinwa has reviewed articles and published in reputable journals such as International Journal of Production Economics, Omega, International Journal of Production Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, and Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice. She has also received several awards for excellence in research, such as the 2017 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award.
