On the morning of 20 September, Wu Jiawei, Vice President of Soochow University, and his delegation visited our college to investigate the work related to discipline construction. Liu Jing, Deputy Director of Discipline Construction and Development Planning Office, Yang Ninghui, Deputy Director of Discipline Construction and Development Planning Office, and Yin Kui, Deputy Director of Talent Work Office and Deputy Director of Personnel Office accompanied the research. Our party and government leadership team members and teachers' representatives attended the seminar.

Dean Feng Bo reported on the basic situation of the College, focusing on the current situation of the College's disciplinary development, the construction of the faculty, and measures to promote the high-quality development of disciplines. Feng Bo said that in recent years, the college in the tripartite support, is committed to building a high level of characteristics of the business school, the layout of the disciplinary frontiers, focus on the connotation of the construction, enhance the disciplinary platform, and promote the integration of professional development. I implore the university to provide further guidance and support to continuously improve the level of business school discipline construction.

Liu Jing, Deputy Director of Discipline Construction and Development Planning Office, and Yang Ninghui, Deputy Director of Discipline Construction and Development Planning Office, introduced the ideas of discipline construction reform and development in terms of optimising the layout of disciplines in the school and cross-fertilisation of disciplines, and hoped that the school and the academy would make joint efforts to promote the construction of disciplines. Yin Kui, Deputy Director of the Talent Work Office and Deputy Director of the Personnel Office, put forward the support for discipline construction from the aspects of faculty construction and talent development.

After listening to the report, Wu Jiawei said she would actively support the high-quality development of the business school. She pointed out that it is necessary to balance the distribution of personnel in the Business School, clarify the focus of discipline development, and do a good job in personnel layout, resource integration, talent introduction and talent cultivation, so as to provide a good guarantee for the high-quality development of the Business School.
