On September 21, 2025, the East China Region 3 Qualifying Round of the 11th National Management Case Competition (2025) was held at the University of Science and Technology of China. The event was guided by the National Professional Degree Education Steering Committee for Business Administration and jointly organized by the China Management Case Sharing Center and the Management Case Research Committee of the China Society for Management Modernization. Professor Wang Weisha and Professor Li Jing from the School of Business at Soochow University led the Soochow University MBA team “Deepcase” to participate in the competition.

Twelve teams from eleven institutions across East China delivered outstanding live presentations on the theme “From Silk Artisans to AI Pioneers: The Collaborative Digital Innovation Journey of Vantone Silk.” Ultimately, the Soochow University MBA team secured third place. Among them, Zhang Ben from the Class of 2024 was honored with the Best Presentation Award.
